The cedar smell is fantastic when you first open the box, and the pre-drilled holes made stacking a second layer incredibly easy. My wife and I had our bed built up in about twenty minutes.

Wasn't sure these little posts would feel sturdy enough, but they lock the second layer of boards in tight with no wobble at all. The cedar matches my existing bed perfectly and two posts per side held the extra seven inches of soil without any bowing.

Adding a second layer to my raised bed was way easier than I expected, the posts slid right into the existing corner holes and held the boards steady at seven inches per layer. Only gripe is the cedar splintered a little on one post where I drilled, but it sealed up fine with oil.
