I was a little worried about stability when adding the third board, but these tall posts are solid and the slots fit perfectly. They really make building a deeper garden bed simple.

The slots on these posts made aligning the boards so much easier than my last setup. I stacked two layers for deeper soil, and the whole frame feels incredibly sturdy.

I stacked three boards per post and got about ten and a half extra inches of soil depth for my carrots, which is exactly what I needed. The cedar feels solid and the 2x2 thickness doesn't flex when I tamp the soil down. Two seasons in and no splitting or rot so far.
