I was pleasantly surprised at how precisely these spacers fit—they measure exactly 1.5 inches long, and wedging them between the boards created just the right airflow gap for my composter.

The spacing these create between the composter boards is exactly 1 1/2 inches, which lets air flow through perfectly without any gaps being too wide. A simple little piece that makes a real difference in how the pile breaks down.

Wasn't sure I needed these until my compost started smelling sour from no airflow. The 3/4 inch width sits flush between the boards and the gaps let everything breathe way better. Cheap fix for a real problem.
