Wooden Garden Stake 3 ft RC83N

My tomato plants were getting too heavy for just twine, so I grabbed these three-foot wood stakes. The untreated surface blends right into the garden bed and grips the soil well. A whole row of romas stayed upright through a thunderstorm last week.

I planted a dozen pole beans next to these stakes and the untreated wood feels sturdy enough to hold them all summer without any worry about chemicals leaching into the soil.

The untreated wood is what sold me, no chemical smell near my tomatoes. I pounded them in with a mallet and they didn't split, which I was worried about with bare wood. Held my pepper plants through a windy week just fine.
